Tip of the Day

Blame gravity. When you swing at a ball that's lower than your feet, gravity pulls you down the slope, making it hard to stay balanced. Try these adjustments:
Get Down. Take a shoulder-width stance for stability and lower yourself to the ball by bending from your knees. You should feel like you're sitting back on your heels.
Set Up Left. Shots hit from below your feet tend to fade because lowering the clubhead points the face to the right. Compensate by aligning your body slightly left.
Keep Quiet. Your hand and arms, not your body, should control the swing, moving the club on a fairly steep plane. Take one more club than usual and make a three-quarter swing.
